Photography is a visual art that uses the images to capture, create, express, or interpret the appearance. With this event we are judging the photography skills of the participant and see how they interpret the contest theme with their unique observation. So, it is time to showcase the world through your lens by being a part of the Photography event – Pratibimba.

Rules

• There will be two rounds, first round is through online mode, the best photographs are selected for final round, which is conducted offline.

• The theme will be revealed later as the registration proceeds.

• The below mentioned rules are subjected for both the rounds.

• Only students, who are below 25 years of age can participate.

• Images must be limited to 10 mb and JPEG format.

• Pixel range should be at least 600 pixels on the shorter side and should be less than 2000 pixels on the longer side.

• The contestant should send both raw and edited JPEG images related to the theme, multiple entries are not allowed per contestant.

• Basic editing includes exposure, shadow and highlight recovery, colour balance, tint correction, sharpening, contrast, and cropping is allowed provided any such editing does not affect the originality of the photo.

• The submitted photographs should be authentic without any logos, copyright marks, borders, or any other visible references/marks on the image.

• You need to mention a unique title and description for an image not exceeding 50 words.

• Inappropriate or offensive content, violence, human rights/ environmental violation is strictly prohibited, the contestant will be immediately out of the competition.

• The images should be submitted through gmail [email protected] subject should be in the name of the event (Pratibimba) in the description name of the student, college name, university name and contact number are mandatory.

• Submitted photos will be shortlisted by the jury before uploading it to the official VAMNICOM page (40% based on likes, comments and 60% judge’s).

• VAMNICOM reserves rights to upload in various social media handles.

• Contestants should send their entries to email id before the deadline.

• The judge’s decision is final.

JUDGING CRITERIA

ROUND I

• Evaluation will be done based on likes image will get on the Spardha official Instagram,

• relevancy of description of image and jury choice.

• Start Date:18-03-2024

• End Date: 20-03-2024

• Results of first round will be declared on: 21-03-2024

ROUND II

• Relevancy of image and description, creativity, best angle, focus etc.

• Start Date: 22-03-2024

• The theme will be revealed after first round results.

NOTE

1. Travelling allowances would be provided to the shortlisted candidates for the offline

2. events on the provision of proper bills to us after reaching the campus.

3. Up to Rs.1500 individual would be refunded.

4. Accommodation and food facilities will also be provided free of cost within the campus

5. for the shortlisted candidates for the offline events.

Prize Money:

1st prize: Rs.7,000/-with certificate and trophy

2nd prize: Rs.5,000/-with certificate and trophy

3rd prize: Rs.4,000/-with certificate and trophy
